Contour Housing Partners, a mission-driven housing preservation firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Ehrlich as director of acquisitions. Under Contour’s executive leadership team, Ehrlich will support the organization’s strategy to acquire, stabilize, and preserve high-quality affordable rental housing across the country.
In his role, Ehrlich will oversee the identification, financial structuring, and underwriting of multifamily investment opportunities, collaborating closely with Contour’s executive leadership, analysts, and affiliates, including Pennrose and Pennrose Management Company (PMC). He will also help manage all aspects of the acquisition process, from initial identification and due diligence through closing and stabilization.
“Jeff’s expertise in executing complex multifamily transactions will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow Contour’s portfolio and deliver lasting results for residents, communities, and investment partners,” said Dylan Salmons, president and managing partner at Contour. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our close-knit, collaborative team as we work to preserve our nation’s rapidly aging affordable housing stock.”
Prior to joining Contour, Ehrlich served as vice president, head of acquisitions and dispositions at Olive Tree Holdings, where he led a team responsible for sourcing and closing more than 10,000 units, including over 3,000 affordable units, and led acquisition negotiations across diverse U.S. markets. His earlier roles in investment banking at Deutsche Bank provided a strong foundation in financial strategy, underwriting, and market analysis within the real estate sector.
“I am honored to work alongside some of the most respected professionals in affordable housing and to join Contour Housing Partners at such a pivotal moment for our industry,” added Ehrlich. “As housing preservation becomes increasingly urgent, I look forward to collaborating with the Contour team to deliver long-term solutions that make a meaningful impact in communities across the country.”
Ehrlich holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, with specializations in finance, real estate, and strategy, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
Contour Housing Partners was launched in 2023 by executives from Pennrose, one of the nation’s largest developers of affordable housing.
